Eucon adapter nuendo 811/28/2023 Other than that, I don’t have any more advice. I found that I had to un-install Eucon 3.1.3, reboot, then install 3.2 and reboot before N7 “saw” and actually worked with my MC Control. I’ve got Nuendo 4.3 through 7 loaded on my PC and Eucon works with all of them (or at least did before the last upgrade, I haven’t tried it with N4 since the transition), so having multiple versions is NOT a factor. But if that’s not the case it should work. Since you said that you can’t see any trace of Eucon listed, that made me think that you might be in 32bit. Cubase 6.5.0 and Nuendo 5.5.2 available here. Now forced to go to 64bit, I lost a lot of plugs, my Melodyne plug stopped working even though it was 64bit, forcing yet another update and now it doesn’t work as it did in N6.5 (you can’t by pass the plug anymore in either N7 or N6.5!!). The Steinberg EuCon Adapter for Cubase 6.5.0 and Nuendo 5.5.2 available here is required for the use of the AVID Artist and Pro Series Controllers. 3.1.3 was not supported and that I had to update to 3.2 and be sure that I had the latest Eucon Adaptor (which turned out to be the same one since, for me, Nuendo 6). 2) 64bit version gave me an error message saying that Eucon ver. 1) 32bit version didn’t even see Eucon or anything associated with it. When I upgraded to N7, two things happend. ![]() If you are already on the 64bit version, then the only other thing I can think of is that they’ve left something out of the TRIAL VERSION. So if you want Nuendo to talk to your Artist Mix, be sure you’re on the 64bit platform. Believe me, I KNOW how frustrating this process can be!! Are you running the 32bit version of N7? If so, you should know that 7 no longer supports the Artist Series in 32bit. I’m really sorry you’re having to go through all of this drama. Is it beacause I have more than version o Nuendo installed on the one machine? I doubt it. ![]() If I can’t get this to work, he is gonna push us down the pro tools road. Yes, granted, I should be processing the noise reduction offline, however, I prefer not to in case I should run into any particular portion of the audio where the denoiser should have unwanted affects.Downloaded Eucontrol 3.2, upgraded firmware, Adaptor 6.1.190 was already installed and working with Nuendo 5.5.Īrtist works in Nuendo 5.5 but not in Nuendo 7 (trial).īoss wants us to go Pro tools, we don’t. Same can be said for Izotope plug-ins even when running multiple instances of RX Denoiser. I have not experienced any issues with the AMD chip. When using EastWest products, the Intel chip could never keep up with the demands which caused a lot of lagging and studdering especially when 20+ EastWest plug-ins were loaded. If rendering only GPU accelerated plug-ins, there is no significant difference. If rendering a video with non-GPU accelerated plug-ins, the AMD processor is able to render about 9-10 times faster than the Intel chip. ![]() Both of my machines, old and new, are being used for this purpose still (depending on what location I am working in). The Win10Pro machine is using an AMD FX 9590 (8 Core) processor and the Win7Pro machine is using an Intel Core i7 (12 Core).Ī bit off topic, however, most of what I do is video post production. The most significant different between the machines, aside of the operating systems, is the processors. In fact, my Win10Pro machine runs Nuendo smoother than my old Win7Pro machine. My sessions range from 12 - 64 tracks running multiple plug-ins from Izotope, NI, EastWest, Line6, etc. I have not experienced any issues with running Nuendo 6.5 NEK (64-bit) in Win10Pro. Once I restarted the machine, Nuendo had the EUCON protocol available in the device list. I ran the Nuendo 6.5.40 update, which contained the EUCON 6.5 32-bit & 64-bit adapter. ![]() Despite Win10 not being supported, I managed to get the EUCON protocol installed and WORKING.
